Super User Gloria Taracena Board Member Gloria Taracena - Vice President, Relationship Manager II Ms. Taracena joined Hanmi Bank in September 2016 as First Vice President, Relationship Manager II. She is responsible for originating and managing the portfolio of C&I and Commercial Real Estate Loans. Prior to Hanmi Bank, Ms. Taracena worked at Pacific Western Bank (PWB) as VP, Relationship Manager where she originated business loans and lines of credit to Healthcare and Education Operators. During her tenure at PWB, she worked closely with medical facility operators and charter schools within the State of California. Ms. Taracena has 16 years of commercial real estate experience with an expertise in Commercial Originations and Portfolio Management. She first started her career in commercial lending with the HealthCare Financing Group (HCFG) of GMAC Commercial Mortgage (GMACCM) as a Healthcare Real Estate Underwriter, where she originated healthcare and property loans with credit exposures between $2MM to $25MM for conduit financing and property types that included Assisted Living, Independent Living, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Alzheimer & Rehabilitation Centers, Convalescent Hospitals, and Medical Office Buildings. While working at GMACCM, she had the opportunity to conduct property inspections, research Medicaid/Medicare Reimbursement programs, and worked closely with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Insured/HUD agencies for the purpose of financing projects that provide affordable housing to seniors. During Ms. Taracena's employment at GMACCM, she became Co-Chair of the GMACCM Pasadena Community Services Group and organized several volunteer projects with organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Senior's Making Art Program and the Alzheimer's Association. She further enhanced her commercial lending experience by working at Citibank Commercial Real Estate Group; JP Morgan Chase Commercial Lending Division and California Credit Union. At California Credit Union, she held a Vice President position where she had direct oversight and managed a commercial lending group of 15 employees: Loan Processing/Funding, Underwriting, Asset Management, Loan Compliance, and Commercial & SBA Loan Servicing Departments. Ms. Taracena graduated from Loyal Marymount University (LMU) receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She is an alumni member of the LMU Alumni Association; Ignation Service Organization; Kappa Delta Society. Her accomplishment includes the receipt of a Real Estate Scholarship Award from Glendale Community College in 2004 and an Achievement Award from California Credit Union.
