LEFF announces the re-appointment of it's Founder and President, Heberto M. Sanchez, to the California Organized Investment Advisory Board by California Speaker of the Assembly Anthony Rendon. LEF congratulates
Mr. Sanchez on his appointment. 

LEF announces that it's Chairman of the Board, Servando Ornelas, has been appointed to the California Structural Pest Control Board by California State Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin DeLeon. LEF congratulates Mr. Ornelas on his appointment. 

LEF proudly sponsors the California State University, Northridge Valley Performing Arts Center - Mexico's Past and Present: A Cultural Journey - an interactive arts program that showcases the vast cultural expression of our neighbor to the south. 

On June 15, 2017, the Latino Educational Fund sponsored a speaker series/mixer with the East Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Whittier Blvd Merchant Association at Chimaya Art Gallery. The event was attended by business owners, community leaders and local elected officials. 

In 2016, LEF sponsored a speaker series with the East Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce called "Wake Up with East Los Angeles".
